- ALL tags in Oklahoma are over the counter. When you receive your orientation packet in September it will list recommended sporting goods retailers to purchase your tag when you arrive in Oklahoma.

- Hunter Orange is required in Oklahoma for all firearm hunters including rifle season and muzzleloader as well. (Both hat and vests are required to total 400 square inches of surface area. If anyone is hunting with archery equipment during a firearm season they must wear at least a hat or a vest but not both.
- The hunter orange with camo print is legal.
- Anyone born after 1971 must have a hunter safety card to obtain a tag.
- There are no restrictions on scope magnifications for muzzleloader. You may use scoped muzzleloaders and any magnification is OK.
- Hunter orange must be worn even while in a tree stand.
