Enid bow hunting
Come visit the Mesa region of Oklahoma, “Gateway to the Old West and Indian Territory”. The high plains prairie and large crop fields, broken up by shallow running rivers and rimrock canyons, are a hunters paradise. Within tens of thousands of acres managed in five NW Oklahoma counties along the Kansas state line big healthy whitetails are abundant. Large numbers of not only deer and turkey, but all wildlife, add to the overall experience of hunting for that giant prarie buck. Under free-ranging fair chase conditions, it just doesn’t get any better!

Hunt Kansas Size Bucks in Northwest Oklahoma with Big Cedar Hunts.
deer hunt
The Northwest corner of Oklahoma is known for producing the big body size whitetails just like Kansas, our neighbor to the north. We regularly take bucks that dress between 200 and 250 pounds. The antler growth due to the nutrition and genetics in this area of the United States is outstanding. Many of our guests from the south and eastern U.S. see our 2 year old deer and think they are mature whitetails. The bottom line is while you are not guaranteed to see a particular deer or size of deer you will be hunting in the area that we call "land of the giants" where a Boone and Crocket record deer could be seen at any time. Please take some time learning about us via this website and we look forward to hosting you in the future.
